Scheduled

A critical vulnerability has been disclosed in the Linux kernel (CVE-2026-98432, CVSS 9.8). It may allow an attacker to execute code on vulnerable systems over the network, without credentials.

Copaco Cloud is actively monitoring this. As soon as the security updates are available, we will carry out urgent maintenance on the Linux-based components of our platform. Installing the update requires a restart, so services may be briefly interrupted during the maintenance.

- Affected services: TBA
- Scheduled window: TBA
- Expected impact: TBA

Advice for your own environments: If you manage your own Linux servers, for example virtual machines in your cloud environment, install your distribution's kernel update as soon as it is available and restart the system. Until then, we recommend checking for active MPTCP listeners (ss -Mlnp) and only exposing services where necessary.

We will update this notice as soon as more information becomes available
